Theatre& Working with the National Apprenticeship Service

Theatre& are delighted to be delivering an 11 week regional tour of the North-East to Year 11 students in order to raise awareness about staying in learning and promoting apprenticeships.

The tour, beginning January 2010, will address a variety of questions and common myths surrounding apprenticeships, such as: earning potential from apprenticeships, what support is available for apprentices, dispel myths around gender stereotypes and where to find out more information.

Using the latest audio-visual technology to make the presentations interactive and engaging, students will leave the presentation with an enhanced understanding of the benefits of work based learning.

Promoting the National Apprenticeship Service to encourage and advise school-leavers on how to make informed career decisions has been a focus for Theatre& over the last five years.
