Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Royal Borough of Kensington chose to work with Theatre & Development to create a Performance Management training programme. Key to the programme was the provision of credible, challenging training scenarios so that Managers could relate to and fully immerse themselves in the development activities. The focus of the programme was to support managers in dealing with challenging situations, improve people management capabilities and reinforce the benefits of understanding motivational factors in the workplace.
The Theatre & workshops were very positively evaluated and were a great way to inject energy into a rather tired if essential management topic. The quality of the scripts, actors, facilitators and administration were second to none.

Lyreco chose to work with Theatre & after hosting a Customer Service / Management Development demonstration. Our particular approach was essential in order to bring to life key behaviours for regional and area sales managers. Blackburn with Darwen PCT
The client chose Theatre & to work with them in collaboration at their Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) conference. Blackburn with Darwen PCT were looking for a training provider to make an impact with a subject that people find difficult to talk about, but in a way that encouraged delegate participation in a safe yet interactive way. Having previously seen Theatre & at a demonstration, the client felt out training methods would be the perfect vehicle for this conference event.

Departure for Culture, Media and Sport
DCMS chose to work with Theatre & after a recommendation from a council colleague as well as attending one of our demonstrations. Equally important was the Theatre & ability to develop bespoke scenarios and exercises which closely reflected the organisation culture of DCMS and therefore more accurately met their learning needs. The particular programmes were Diversity and Equality Awareness for all employees as well as a diversity training for managers.

ECITB
Theatre & Learning were contracted for the second consecutive year by the ECITB to provide Engineering Construction focused theatre based presentations to Year 9 and 10 students in selected areas across the UK during an 18 week tour.
The aim of the presentation was to explore and promote careers in Engineering Construction and challenge gender and ethnic stereotypes. The presentation would additionally portray the 3 main progression routes into the industry and promote the 'goengineer' website.

Theatre & Learning are pleased to have been able to support the work of Careers Scotland/Skills Development Scotland on the School College Collaboration project; travelling the length and breadth of Scotland delivering workshops and presentations to Skills for Work Students from Stranraer to Shetland.

Aim Higher
Theatre & Learning were delighted to support the work of Oldham and Rochdale Aimhighers with an innovative Options choice presentation that introduced and explained the new Diploma to more than 3000 yr 9 students.
Additionally the highly entertaining performance used relevant media and cultural references to convey the importance of developing an open culture of life-long learning. The performance explored all of the routes open to young people after Year 11 with particular reference to Further and Higher Education. It encouraged all students, regardless of their Learning Style, to think carefully about their option choices and Aimhigher. It also stresses the help and support available through the Connexions Service.
First Direct
Theatre & Development worked with First Direct in order to deliver training for their in-house training team focusing on diversity and equality – specifically looking at the issues raised and the impact from a trainers perspective. The training also addressed the needs for trainers to role model best practice behaviours.
